The decree gave him the right to remarry, but not her. A petition was granted in 1870 allowing her to remarry and she married Uriah Cunningham on 27 Oct 1870. He was a black man and in March 1871 a jury fined her $100 for unlawfully marrying a black man. The 1871 case names 4 children: Jane (age 19), Ann (age 15), Mary (age 13) and William (age 11).
