Research Note

Most records (WW1 Draft Card, WW2 Draft Card, Social Security Death Index, obituaries) give 20 Jun 1900 as his birthdate, but the 1900 Federal census taken on 5 Jun 1900 includes Gordon White as an 11 month old child. Eliminating the unlikely possibility that this 11 month old Gordon died and the same name was given to another son born 15 days later, I am using 20 Jun 1899 as his birthdate. This is further supported by the 1910 census which lists Gordon as 12 years old.
