- John Dishman was married on 11 Nov 1843 at age 26. Except for 2 years he lived with his father William all his lifetime. William Dishman died 29 Apr 1875, just 5 years lacking one day from date of his will.
- When he was married family consisted of William, William’s wife (John’s mother), and William’s son John who was then about 21 years of age and was an invalid, and continued such to be to his death in 1866. William’s wife died 08 Jan 1865.
