Dana DISHMAN, son of J. E. and Phereby E. DISHMAN, died September 14 at the age of about fifty years. He was married to Amanda J. MILLER about twenty-seven years ago and to this union five children were born. A daughter, Maude preceded him to rest, while the wife and four sons, Eric, Claude, Casie and Chester and four step-children, Charles, Harvey and Virgil Miller and Mrs. Maude SHANKLIN are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father and husband. He was a member of the Church of Christ and tried to live a righteous life. The last words he spoke were, "I am resting in sweet repose," which followed a prayer. He had gone to work as usual and returned about 9:30 o'clock complaining of being very sick at the stomach, saying that if he did not get relief soon he would die. A doctor was immediately summoned but he died before the physician arrived. Neighbors were called but death had claimed its victim before any of them reached the home. Mr. DISHMAN was a father to his stepchildren who appreciated his affection for them and they cannot find words to express their sorrow at the loss of him.
