1752 Inheritence of 150 acres in King George County

Summary

Mary Butler, wife of Samuel Dishman Sr. (d. 1796) inherited 150 acres from her father and mother, William & Grace Butler in 1752.  This land is the site of the Pine Hill home built by Samuel Dishman Sr. (d. 1796) and given to his son Samuel Dishman Jr. (d. 1817).  The Pine Hill Cemetery located on this land is the burial place of four generations of Dishmans, beginning with Samuel Dishman Jr. (d. 1817).
