27 Feb 1705/06: [Duchemen’s rights proved] Samuell Duchemen came into Court and upon the Holy Evangelist did sweare that hee had good right according to Law to claime Lands for the importacion of severall persons hereunder mencioned into this Colony, to witt, Henry Stapleton, William Mean, William Duff, Margrett Collins, Pierce Cale and Michaell Spiller and it is ordered a Certificate according to Law.

24 Sep 1707: [Hogg’s Administration granted Cohoren] Administration is granted Christian Cohoren of the Estate of Roger Hogg, deced., Charles Ashton, Gent., assumeing with said Christian in the sume of ten thousand pounds of tobacco for her due administration thereon, and it is ordered that shee return a true and perfect Inventory of the same to the next Court upon Oath. It was also ordered that Joeseph Smith, Samuel Ducheman, William Butler and Edward Marcey or any three of them being first sworn before some of her Majestie’s Justices for this County do some tyme before the next Court value and appraise the Estate and make return of their valuation to the next Court.

24 Feb 1708/09: [Ducheman v Hudson’s Executors] Judgment is granted Samuell Ducheman against the Estate of John Hudson, deceased, in the hands of William Rush and Joshua Hudson, Executors of the Last Will and Testament of John Hudson, for the sume of four hundred forty six pounds of tobacco due by account and proved by the Oath of Samuell Ducheman. Ordered they pay the same with costs als Execution.

24 Feb 1708/09: [Ducheman v Elliott’s Executors] Judgment is granted Samuell Ducheman against the Estate of John Elliott, deceased, in the hands of Sarah Elliott, Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of John Elliott, for the sume of four hundred fourty pounds of tobacco due by account. Ordered shee pay the same with costs als Execution.

18 Dec 1710: Mrs. Mary Merring of Plymouth, County of Devon in Great Britain died seized of 440 Acres in Northumberland County. Land Escheats. Thomas Sorrell, Deputy Clerk of said County. Grant to Samuel Duchiminia of Westmoreland County adjacent his land on upper Machotique, Thomas Butler, Edward Mercy, near Ashton Swamp, Richard Rawlins.

25 Jun 1712: [Browne v Duchmen] In the difference between John Browne against his Master, Samuel Duchmen, for freedome, Samuel having made Oath that he never saw neither had and Indenture whereby John Browne was bound to any person as against him he had alledged. It is ordered John Browne do return home to serve his Master according to a former Judgement of this Court in that behalfe made.

26 Jun 1717: [Trigger’s Admon granted] Margrett Trigger, Relict of Thomas Trigger, deced. came into Court and made Oath that Thomas departed this life without making any Will soe far as she knows or believes and upon her Petition Certificate is granted her for obtaining Letters of Administration on the Estate in due form, Terrance Conner assumeing in open Court to be Security for her faithfull administration thereof according to Law; And ordered Nicholas Downton, Joseph Smith, William Butler and Samuel Duchemen or any three of them being first sworn before one of his Majesties Justices for this County, doe some time before the next Court value and appraise the Estate in money and make report thereof to the next Court.
