DEATHS. Shanklin.

Jane DISHMAN was born November 16, 1826. She was married to Abraham SHANKLIN January 7, 1847. To this union was born seven children?four boys and three girls. Of these seven there are but three living?two sons and one daughter.

She died at Jasonville, Ind., at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Charlotte BROWN, the 15th of Feb. 1905. Age 78 years, 2 months and 20 days.

She became a member of the Church of Christ at the age of fourteen and to the day of her death still believed the same great truth that Jesus is, "The Christ the son of the living God."

The remains were brought to her old home near Owensburg and kept over night. The funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 17, conducted by the Elder Wilson QUILLEN, after which the remains were taken to the Dishman Cemetery and laid to rest beside her husband to await the resurrection morn. Peace to her memory and rest to her soul.
